Megan kicked off one of her last days in Europe with a short train ride from Basel to Luzern this morning. She was traveling back to the city to follow up with the HR manager at Merck. At 7am on Tuesday, Megan embarked on what should’ve been a quick hour and fifteen minute train ride to Lucerne. About an hour into the ride Megan noticed she was not going in the right direction. She quickly disembarked and rushed back in the direction of Lucerne. In the end she made it to Lucerne at 12pm and proceeded to have a fabulously successful meeting with HR at Merck’s Swiss headquarters. After her meeting Megan spent some time sightseeing. She snapped […]

While she met with HR and hiring managers the children and Eric visited the Munich Zoo. Thankfully, in spite of the heat the Germans were super nice and incredibly helpful. While in Munich, Megan and her family stayed at the Munich City Hilton. The hotel was delightfully accommodating and a cool change to the roasting air conditioner-less apartment in Basel. On […]
Wednesday morning Megan and her whole family traveled from Madrid to Munich. Since the minute they all stepped foot in Germany they’ve had a good time! Everyone has been indulging and enjoying the typical German fare. On Thursday Megan had the day off so everyone traveled to Neuschwanstein Castle. Friday will be busy for Megan, she has two big meetings. Stay tuned! Remember to follow her blog! http://familybdtrip.blogspot.com
In life there are sweet moments and there are not so sweet moments; in the last two days Megan has had one of each. Monday for the most part was a day off for Megan. Other than preparing for her meetings she didn’t have a lot of Pharmalogics business on her plate so she took the time to intellectually enlighten Maddy and Bailey at some of Spain’s most precious spaces. They visited the Reina Sofia Museaum of Modern Art, Retiro […]
